About Me

My journey began with a transformative field trip as an International Relations student, where I studied Cambodia's genocide. I aspired to become an international criminal prosecutor, dedicated to bringing war criminals to justice. This experience ignited a passion within me to make a meaningful impact in the world, leading me to pursue a law degree.

Life led me down the corporate path, which was ultimately unfulfilling. At that time, I discovered Jivamukti yoga, which initially attracted me due to the physical challenge. I soon realised that this is actually only a vehicle that allows us to access the more subtle aspects within and around us.

Through my practice, I came to understand that you don’t have to be a lawyer to make a difference; every day, we have the opportunity to touch someone’s heart and work with our own local communities to give back to Mother Earth.

Through my time spent living in nature, I intend to help bring the human communities where I live into balance with their surrounding landscapes. Next to teaching, I surf, work with plants, grow my own food and protect and nourish the land where I live.

I’m incredibly grateful to all of my teachers whose classes continue to inspire me: Rowena Johnson, Nicole von Grünigen, Juan Sierra, Jules Febres, Dana Sertel. And to Berlin, which was my home for eight years.
